- When an organization is providing RRH assistance, they should not be the provider completing the Third Party Verification form unless the participant is in one of the organization's shelter or outreach programs?
- How should program providers address situations when we know a potential participant is not literally homeless but has supplied all the documents required for eligibility?
- When paying ongoing financial assistance, can we require program participants to do things that would increase their chances of long-term sustainability, such as applying for jobs to increase income, attending mental health appointments, opening a savings
- What supporting documents can program providers require? For example, if someone states they recently lost a job, may we ask for a termination letter or accept their word?
- Can program providers require participants to complete financial budgets and goal plans?
- Suppose it is clear that a potential program participant will not sustain after financial assistance has ended. Can a provider deny services or ask the participant to find a more affordable unit?
